i didnt say i would, i said id look into it, but it would be a nice contrast to the real size theorists(no offense to them, i like that too) that is a bit more imaginative and different.

If I get a new PC system I would like to get in on this too. I been following this stuff for years but unable to partake due to the limitiations of my current PC.

ive got a 2 year old laptop that i play navy field & combat arms on. both work well. only a very old grafics card an decent m 2.0 processor, 1 gig of ram. never any troubles with those games.

Others on the other hand like FEAR an newer fps games wont run decently on my computer but have not much better grafics. makes me think the games are getting more complex so we have to buy better computers, getting fleeced i think we are. thats imo only fyi

If it's more than two years old, it's already obsolete. :)

If you didn't order overnight shipping and it arrived this morning, it's obsolete :O

I just bought a new graphics card, so I could play the newer games like Crysis and Unreal Tournament III. The games don't look much better than the older stuff I used to play, until I turned up the settings and activated the physics-processing capabilities of my new card. I was (literally) blown away while gawking at the incredible scenery. Multiple times :O

Navy Field isn't very intuitive when it comes to figuring out the controls. It took me a while to figure out that you had to put the crewmen on the ship before you could leave the dock. heh.

Once you got that figured out, launch the ship and go through the tutorials.

I'm still working up my crewmen to lvl 12. :p

By the way, they do have French ships ... just not the Richey or Jean Bart. Bleah.

If you want to try something that is interesting (or at least I think so) try the Hearts of Iron series.

Monk, you don't want to make a room until you're well experienced. It's a pain and everybody b*****s about balance. Just go to the battle area and click on a battle that is not underway. Sometimes, you have to click a bunch :)
