hey all im currently building my first ship a cleveland class cruiser but i have time on my hands to dream so what do you experienced folks think of the virginia predread to me it looks like it would have a lot of casemate and its really short33 inches , fairly wide 6 inches 2 props and i assume 1 rudder ,again about as good as it gets for a US boat 3.5 BATTLE UNITS

I have a predread, Radetsky class, one of the bigger ones. They are hard to make. Not a lot of room, not a lot of weight, not a lot of battery power. It's pretty fun to battle, more pesky than fearful.

King Georg V 6 unit fast battleship.

    24 seconds good
    Single rudder bad
    No Haymaker bad
    High freeboad bad
    Quad Aft good

I have never seen on. I would not recommend one. It is a 6 unit cruiser. If you like cruisers get a Suffren.

I am bias. I like sidmounts.

educate me if you would on the freeboard for virginia class predread wouldnt all that casemate reduce the freeboard a lot?
the single rudder sucks i agree but on turning wont the length make it turn tighter than a longer boat its 17 inches shorter than a cleveland with the same single rudder
