We welcome all types of R/C to our Park. We offer Mowed 600' grass runway with electric power for charging, running fresh water, food at our main shade building, camping on grounds. We have sites for marine, rc car tracks for off-road, clay oval, as well area for crawler trails. Our marine area is on a 250 acre lake with private access to water edge. Check us out at our web www.walterrcpark.com Hope to be able to host some of your battles here next summer

This looks awesome. Wish we had something like this in California!

That's a pretty nice setup, and a place like what you have there could be an enormous boost to the local group.

How deep is this 250 Acre lake? It sounds rather large for what we do, but with a large enough shallow area that wouldn't be a huge issue.

You don't need shallow for some of us, just the captains who don't have confidence in their build/battle.

AusBG plays in some deep stuff I think. Lots of well secured float line and a rowboat..

    I have been there.
It has many great qualities as u can see on the web-site.
Great parking, very nice tent area with great access to the lake, food, electric , port-a-potty
    Large lakes have inherent problems,
The water we would battle in is about 5 to 10 feet deep, further out it is 20'
The lake has a very good shallow area for launching ships.
Strong wind from the south would be tough.
    kas

Old farts are more buoyant by design, a significant advantage (rule time: to even the playing field, old farts have a 50% point negative adustment).

Glad to have some interest in our park. The launch site is about 10' deep 40' off shore. Hard bottom gravel and sand where we operate from. Have a 12' boat at site for recovery, at all times during the warm months.
