Weapons check

    Dose any one know what type of guns typically where on the Liberty ships the bow mount and smaller guns on the superstructure and on the fantail. I think they may have been Bow 3 inch fantail 5 inch and 20mm.

    I believe you're right; 3" at the bow, 5" stern to discourage pursuit, and 6 (or more) 20mm AA guns. Reference is: http://www.navweaps.com/index_tech/tech-083.htm
