Isn't "N" guage for model railroads close?

    1/144 means a 6' man is about .5"

I get mine in a package called "MODEL POWER" station service crew N scale which is close enough as the guys work out to be about 5'5" tall. Small enough to get into tight enclosed spaces. Their generally used for N scale train sets but they work fine for our scale too. I get about 8 to 10 crew with some accessories like mop buckets with brooms.

"N" scale ranges from 1/148 to 1/160 scale, depending on what company makes them and what country they come from. Try the "Woodland Scenics" or "Preiser" websites. You can see what is available there.
