If I understand the process correctly, won't a plug wear out before a mold?
Making a plug more useful for one offs and a mold more useful for production as in the case of Strike or BC.

Wear on the plug depends on what you build it from. If you build it to the same standards as a mold, with a good tooling gel coat, it should hold up well.

Yes, all of my hulls will be 1/96. Would you be interested in a hull, Nikki? I'd like to know who all wants one before I buy materials.
One thing to keep in mind, is the more people that buy a hull, the cheaper they will be. :)

Nikki, you might want to clarify the timeframe for Beaver that you'd be interested in another hull, thinking about how long it will take you to finish the projects you have now, and how long it will take you to earn the money for another hull after you've bought everything to finish off your current projects.

Ok then, three hulls are now ordered. :) I'm not quite sure about the price yet, but it'll be somewhere around $85-$115 apiece. If any of you guys aren't serious about getting a hull, let me know. ;) I don't want to make your hull and then find out you didn't want it. :)

I have a carrier that's 65% done. And my cruiser will not be up til the 2015-16 season. and a DD like her is 4inches smaller, which give me two good ships to be able to travl with..

Sure I always need another for my collection. :D
And I do need at least one ship that was launched after 1918.

That's not very convincing. ;) When Anachronus gets his hull, he can let us us know how his turned out. :)

Well, it'd be different if your name was Ralph Coles or Bob Pottle. I don't need to see their hulls first because I know they are good. You however, have to prove to me you can make a good hull. Not trying to be rude, just need to know I'm getting good value.

I understand completely. Now that I have a saw up and running again, I can get working on the plug sometime. I guess what I'll do is make one hull, post pics for everybody to see, then see who all wants one. Sound good to all of you?
