What gears are you using?

    Where are you guys getting your drive gears? Which teeth, what pitch, etc?

    Time will tell if I’m happy with my all-in-one geared motors…. So I’m looking at backup options.

    I'm using mostly the Traxxas 28 tooth drive gear on the prop shaft:

    Mind you, I have a bunch that I bought back when you could get the good gears from Tower Hobbies. Now that everything is ChinaKrap, well, I'd probably go with something like those. I'd prefer brass, but whatevah. Just be aware that if you get Aluminum, they will wear out fairly quickly. That is, they won't last forever.
