Aside from at least two to start battling and a body of water, what is needed to start a club in ones area? There is a real vacume in this part of the country.

We already have a club in your area - IRCWCC with the local Texas Naval Brigade. Right now its TNB North and TNB South.

If you want to be TNB - West.. VOILA.. you have local club! You are now the leader/organizer of the Texas Naval Brigade West.
You just need to get Namba insurance for each person that battles (or single event), get namba insurance for the pond, and you pay dues to IRC. Then you are IN LIKE FLYNN!!

Get a working boat first... hard to entice folks with a no boat or a non-working boat.

    Welcome!!

I recently moved to the El Paso area, The club near winter's Tx is the closest one and that is nearly a 6 hour drive

Denver is 60 times bigger than El Paso. I have to drive 18 hrs to a battle.
But my personality might be a factor.

Sorry I was referring to Fast gun, our group doesn't do any Big gun stuff. We ALL have to drive 6 hours for anything...
