I have a duel motor setup with two ESC's a 6CH spectrum receiver two 6V 2200mAh battery packs and the HP6DSM E-Flight transmitter, but after I plug the battery packs into the ESC's and try a little throttle the ESC's start beeping 1 beep per second or so and the motors don't run while me servo is running fine meanwhile my battery packs start to heat up and sometimes start to smoke. I have tried allot of stuff but still haven't figured it out.:( PLEASE HELP!!!!!

What motors, what ESCs, please :) A pic of how you have them connected would be helpful, if you can lay them out on a table and take a pic of it.

By any chance, did the ESC come with a manual? I'm wondering if it matter which red&black wire pair goes to the battery, and which goes to the motor. It usually does. Not saying you have them backwards, but I like to check everything obvious first. Jadfer's advice on youtube (get one motor/ESC/battery playing nice, then do the other one) is good advice. When you hit a snag, simplify :)

    Nice looking boat, though!

The ESC's could just be bad. I would try them out one at a time.

I have an out-of-the-boat question... I saw in the video that your Transmitter voltage was reading 5.5V... Most transmitters run on higher voltage (like 9.6 or 11.1). Is your transmitter fully charged?

In the boat, have you made sure that the batteries are fully charged? When you short-circuit the batteries (smell a funny smell or God forbid, see smoke), they've been heavily discharged and should get a nice gentle charge back to fullness.

As for the ESCs, There is some truth to 'you get what you pay for'. A 320A ESC should cost probably 10-20 times what you paid for those, and would have a much bigger heat sink for the power transistors. Honestly, the 30A ESCs on my battleship have bigger heat sinks than the ones you're using, which makes me wonder if the seller is selling something that isn't what he says it is.

Why do you need two ESC? If it were me, I would wire the motors up together and run them off one ESC. I would suggest one of the strike models ESC simply because thats what I use and it has never failed me, And it is water proof. just my thoughts. The ship looks real nice, hope it gets up and running soon!

Redundancy. Two is always better than one. Of course, only if they work.

If it is a 4 cell transmitter, then 6.4 is what it should have and could probably go as low as 4 volts without any issues. :)

Did you put up a video showing the wiring in detail? so we can see where each individual wire goes? Do that so we can help you ok.
