I don't actually have one, but I lurk over at RC-Groups in their ships sections and people who use them seem pleased over there, so if they work out (or dont), please post a review thread.

    Mike,
The problem with buying it off the mtroniks site is, it doesn't give you the US money, it's in pounds or British money! but I like the MicroViper Marine10, I know stirke has it to!!!

    Nikki, they are already waterproof.

Yes, they will work quite well with that battery.

If you're getting a ESC, you may as well get a 7.2v r/c car pack with more capacity, say around 3000mAH or more

There are a great many batteries and combinations in the world. More than you can possibly link to in this lifetime. Far more than we can possibly give advice on, even though there are more of us than you. So here is some advice:

Figure out the space you have in whatever ship you're looking at (measure it!), how much weight you have to work with(weigh everything and compare it to your max weight), and find a battery/pack in the 6-7.2V range that has as much capacity as possible and will still fit in your ship. Buy 4 of that battery and a charger for it. Now you can run your boat, dinghy, ship, whatever all day long.

Nikki, a little more listening and a little less asking would probably help. There are lots of solutions that will meet your needs. Nick is telling you how to judge if a specific battery will meet your needs without needing to ask everyone if x particular model works for you.

The polk esc's are no longer available. I have found 2 replacements at R2hobbies.com Both are 100 amp and 1 is waterproof they are $13 and $14 dollars I bought 1 of each and they seem to work great with no setup needed, they work just like a servo and follow the pulse so they will remember when the computer radio uses 40% for travel adjust to make speed.

Get whatever works, Nikki. If it is too long, then wire tie up the excess.
