    it works well sets up quick stinks like hell make sure well vented not as good looking finish as west but you get what you pay for

    I'd stay away from the poly resin from Lowes and stick to epoxy resin formulated for a marine environment. The best price I've found for West System is here: http://www.jamestowndistributors.com/userportal/main.do. They ship quickly and have great customer service.

    Remember, a properly build hull will last for decades. Using inferior maerials results in failure. That's one of the reason I scrapped my Mogami and started over with a new hull. After about 6 weeks of work, Mogami Mk2 is ready for sea trials and I expect she'll last quite a bit longer than the Mk1 version did.

    I have had good luck with the resins available here, if they are available near you. A little fussier than west systems, but still worked well

    I don’t think I could ever build a fiberglass kit the hull lines are far to beautiful to cut into I will stick to scratch build

    LOL I gave mine away to my mom so my wife would stop hanging her clothes on it [:D]

    We had a home gym in the garage a few years back. I made a great place to hang clothes.
