So this is my first warship build and i decided to do it the hard way lol. decided on the HMS invincible. i love the look of it. now.. .how would i read these plans? they look more complicated then the Emile-Bertin that shows all the rib cut outs and such.

My suggestion is to take your copy of the ribs to a copy machine and copy onto a clear sheet. Now turn the clear sheet over and tape a copy of the paper copy to it in such a way as the rib is completed. i.e. the Front set of ribs matching the reverse of the of the front set of rubs making a complete rib section. And the same for the back part of the ribs. I use a double set of keel stakes making the water channel at the same time and locating a center cutout of the bow and stern between them. I know this isn't very clear and will try to find a drawing to show later.
