    He is???!!!!!????!?!?!?!??!!!!!!!! Holy crap! But when I look at his profile, the "Start Conversation" button does not show up. Further, my mom won't let me meet strangers, remember?

    Sounds like you may be forced to take the long way then. At some point you will be older and not have that issue. You may find you have no choice but to be patient.

    If you can't start a conversation from Barry's profile page you can manually start a conversation by clicking on the inbox button at the top and clicking the orange "start a new conversation." Add the name of the person you want to talk to.

    Once again, have you at least shown your parents this forum and the IRCWCC website? That would be an easy first step to show your parents this hobby is legit.

    What he doesn't add above is it also in 10 feet of snow wearing nothing but sandals (used ones at that) while carrying his boat and pushing little old ladies to the nearest hospital.
