I have a need and an opportunity, both arriving in similar time, so I'm going to try to put them together and see what happens.

    The Need:
The From Stem to Stern section is feeling a bit neglected.
I'd love to see a lot more ships detailed in there - right now there are 6 ships and a thread that links to the great resource that PortPolarBear has in the same vein. Of those 6 ships, 1 is Treaty and the rest are FastGun. I'd love to see more of everything, and we don't currently have any Big-Gun ships represented there.
I'd really like to see at least 10 new detailed ships.

    The Opportunity:
Tim from ModelShipsAhoy contacted me wanting to offer up a Brooklyn class hull as a give-away, he will ship it to whoever the lucky winner is, even if you're actually a penguin who lives in Antarctica.

    The Intersection
From now through Oct 14, 2018, if you create a new thread in the From Stem To Stern subforum detailing a ship (and meeting the intent/standard of that section) you will be entered in the drawing for the Brooklyn hull.
You will gain an entry for each thread you provide that meets requirements up 6 threads per user.

    The Fine Print
RCWC staff and family are welcome to create content in this section but will not be considered as entrants to the give-away.
Photos must be uploaded to RCWC, please don't use external image hosts, the photobucket fiasco has been bad enough.
Entrants who are site supporters at the Captain or Admiral rank obtain an additional entry for the give-away as per the terms of the perks associated with their upgrade.
Make sure your thread meets the intent of the Stem to Stern subforum - info is in the stickied thread there - link
If insufficient entries are received the contest may be extended, amended or cancelled in favor of an alternate solution, but that would be really lame, so lets not do that. If there are a landslide of entries, I will add items as additional giveaways for more lucky winners.

Edit: Extended to the 14th to allow time for some additional entries

Sounds good. I've been meaning to post the KEVII, probably after Nate's. Thanks to @modelshipsahoy for offering a giveaway. :)

You are all very welcome. I’ve learned so much here already. Combat models only make up 5% of my product line but I really want to do them right for you guys.

Seeing a bunch of your boats close up inside and out will help us get even better.

I guess links to my build threads wouldn't count?

nope. Build threads are great, but tend to be meandering and don't always contain much reflection upon the ship after actual combat use. You are of course welcome to re-use images you've already used in your build threads, but the FStS threads should stand on their own.

Meandering? I blame all that on Beaver! ;)

What little tab in front of the build title will there be for the Steampunk boats? I'll add one for sure. Is it technically fast gun?

Sorry, I've been meaning to put up an STS. I'll post up after the fall refit. Texas is combat effective, but with one battle under her belt and a major refit of pretty much every system in the works, I doubt the STS would be anything more than a "Here's what I did wrong".

October 21 is the last battle of the year, so once GLAS are done putting holes in the hull, I'll start gutting her for a complete electrical replacement and drive refit.

Throw away the Mac and get a PC? ;)
On a serious note, can you connect it with another computer and offload the pictures?

I don't know Macs very well, so I passed your post along to a guy I know who works for the FruityCo, his response is below
hopefully that is at least a little relevant, its hard to say from here not seeing any of the issue

I also asked if it was just a 'Wait and the problem goes away' type thing
So if you haven't done that, you may need to?
